Heidi Klum (pronounced ['haIdi: 'klUm]; born 1 June 1973)[6] is a German and American model, television host, producer, and businesswoman. She appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1998 and was the first German model to join Victoria's Secret Angel. After her modeling career was a success, Klum became the host and judge for Germany's Next Topmodel and the reality show Project Runway, which earned the show an Emmy nomination for 2008 and a win in 2013 in the category of Outstanding Host on an Reality or Reality-Based Competition Program (shared by co-host Tim Gunn). Klum has been nominated six times for Emmy Awards. She has been a spokesmodel for Dannon and H&M as well as performing in commercials for Volkswagen, McDonald's, and numerous other brands. in 2009 Klum is Barbie's first official representative for Barbie's 50th anniversary. In movies like Blow Dry (2001), Ella Enchanted (2004), Klum played supporting roles. The actress made brief appearances on Ocean's 8 (2018), Perfect Stranger (2006) and The Devil Wears Prada (2007). Klum has also appeared as guest appearances on TV programs like Sex and the City, How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives and Parks and Recreation. From 2013, with the only exception of 2019, Klum was in the role of judge on NBC reality show America's Got Talent.
