Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is an American actor and producer who is best well-known for her performances in the shows she was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an actor, producer and actress who works in film, theater and television. The path to acting started with the theater. She then appeared in various television series as well as independent and mainstream film. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character from ABC's Quantico. In the BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. The actress did not just get praise from critics in her character but also received a few awards and nominations. The actress made her professional debut with the character Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She's appeared for the stage on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry, she's best known for the roles she played in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In the world of television, her role in the series High Incident of ABC's Police Drama High Incident has earned her accolades.
